Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
This policy explains how Duedoh TravelTech India Private Limited (“Duedoh”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data through the Duedoh traveler app, Duedoh Partner app, website, and related support services. Contact us at support@duedoh.com.
Data we collect
- Account and profile: name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, profile image, language and city preferences.
- Booking and service: itinerary, dates, party and passenger information, booking status, reviews, support requests, safety incidents, and messages exchanged in the service.
- Partner verification: live selfie, identity and tax details, qualifications, vehicle documents and photos, availability, bank/UPI payout details, and verification results.
- Location: the Partner app collects precise location during an active trip to show trip progress and support safety. This may continue in the background when the app is closed or not in use. Tracking starts only when a partner starts a trip and stops when it ends. The traveler app may receive active-trip location shared by the assigned partner.
- Payments: amounts, payment status, processor transaction references, refunds, wallet and payout records. Full card or bank credentials used to pay are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Duedoh.
- Device and usage: push-notification token, device and operating-system information, IP address, app version, security logs, and diagnostic events needed to operate and protect the service.
How we use data
We use data to authenticate accounts; match travelers and partners; provide bookings, chat, payments, payouts and live-trip features; verify partners; prevent fraud and abuse; provide support and safety escalation; send service notifications; comply with tax, accounting and legal duties; and improve reliability.
When we disclose data
We disclose only what is necessary to assigned travelers or partners, payment and payout providers, cloud hosting and storage providers, email and push-notification providers, mapping providers, professional advisers, and public authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal data. A service provider may process data only to perform services for Duedoh under its applicable terms and safeguards.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and encrypted network connections. No system is completely secure. Service providers may process data in India or other countries where they operate, subject to applicable law and contractual safeguards.
Retention
We keep account data while an account is active and then delete or de-identify it when deletion is requested, subject to data needed for active services. Transaction, tax, fraud, safety, dispute and legal-compliance records may be retained for the period required by applicable law or a legitimate legal claim. Backups are removed on their normal secure rotation schedule.
Your choices and rights
You may review or update profile information in the apps. You may withdraw optional permissions in Android settings, although related features may stop working. To delete an account, use Profile/Settings → Delete account in either app or follow the instructions on our account deletion page. You may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or help with a privacy concern, subject to applicable law.
Children
Duedoh is not directed to children under 18, and users must be at least 18 to create an account or provide partner services. Contact us if you believe a child provided data without appropriate authority.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service or law changes. We will publish the updated date here and provide additional notice where required.
